Best LSAT Test Prep Courses and Tutoring in Bangkok (Thailand)
Law school applicants seeking admission to selective institutions in the United States and Canada must produce upper-percentile scores on the Law School Admission Test (LSAT). Manhattan Review is a test prep company whose services allow students to rigorously prepare for the LSAT in Bangkok. Available LSAT learning plans for Bangkok students include traditional LSAT prep courses in on-site format, online LSAT classes in online interactive format, one-on-one LSAT tutoring, and LSAT practice tests. Manhattan Review's supremely qualified LSAT tutors and classroom instructors teach our students how to master all relevant LSAT skills, how to craft optimal plans for out-of-class study, and how to maximize scores through strategic approaches to taking the test. Our company is known as an industry leader in innovative test prep teaching and learning, and all of our LSAT options feature professional course materials, cutting-edge methods of instruction, and accommodation of diverse student populations. Manhattan Review has more experience teaching LSAT prep to international students than any other company, and we have consistently proven that we know how to get results for our Bangkok LSAT clients.
Over 105,000 students take the LSAT at one of its four yearly administrations, which are available in countries around the world. The LSAT evaluates reading comprehension, analytical reasoning, logical reasoning, and writing, the first three of which contribute to a score range of 120 to 180. The median score for all test-takers is approximately 151, with 10% of students scoring 165 or higher and a score of 173 reflecting the 99th percentile. Students apply to law school after receiving undergraduate degrees in many different academic subjects, and studies have been conducted on LSAT performance by discipline. The highest-scoring majors are math and physics (both with an average of 160), followed closely by philosophy and theology (both at about 157). Ironically, two of the lowest-scoring majors are pre-law (148) and criminal justice (146), both below the average score for all students. The LSAT is highly regarded by law schools because of its long history (it has been offered since 1948), its standardized assessment of skills seen as important to law school success, and its connection to law school rankings (U.S. News & World Report, for example, ranks law schools in part by the average LSAT scores of accepted students).
Manhattan Review's LSAT clients consistently become law students at top institutions and later successful lawyers. Our LSAT students have been accepted to the law schools at Stanford, Harvard, Yale, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Chicago, Georgetown, Cornell, UC Berkeley, the University of Michigan, the University of Virginia, Northwestern, and many more. Selective law schools generally produce graduates with the best employment prospects. Former Manhattan Review LSAT students have been hired by organizations in the public and private sectors, including government agencies, charitable foundations, major law firms, and Fortune 500 companies. With Manhattan Review's LSAT prep courses and private tutoring in Bangkok, you can start becoming an expert test-taker right away, and receive all of the benefits of high LSAT scores. Meet a Bangkok LSAT Tutor: Janney M.
Janney M. is an experienced trial lawyer who has been teaching LSAT prep for Manhattan Review in several American cities and in Bangkok since 2005. He graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor's degree in anthropology. He completed his JD at Notre Dame Law School, and practiced law for several years in the Chicago area.
Janney relocated to Bangkok three years ago, and he has become an integral member of our local team of LSAT teachers. He continues to practice law on a remote basis while maintaining a full-time teaching schedule. Originally from Decatur, Illinois, he makes regular trips back home to visit his family and to take in Chicago Cubs games. He also enjoys sailing, playing chess, and hiking with his two dogs.
